Misty Palms Oasis Maps

Long-time players might remember me making these maps years ago. Then I lost them. Then I came back, made them again, completely messed up the water maze and mapped it another three times just to be sure.

Anyways, onto the guide:

Getting Started: Go to Misty Palms Oasis at 17700 11400. Near the centre of the town there is a pool and close to said pool there is a white stained clay building. Find the one with a sign saying “Room 103” with a Bwake head on the door (bearded black-eyed man). Go inside and find the hole at 17757 33 11436; jumping down will lead you into the maze.

The First Maze (Sandstone and pain):

Follow the map. The tea leaf is located at 17683 3 11406. After taking the leaf parkour up to the next level by getting up on the sandstone platforms. Mobility moves aren’t disabled in this room so feel free to flare blitz / dolphin dive / dash / glider boost to the top. There’s a single tea leaf here.

KEY:

  • Yellow: The fastest route to the tea leaf
  • Black: Floor
  • Red: The entrance area
  • Blue: The tea leaf room
  • Light Green: The tea leaf

Intermission Area: (The calm before the storm) There is a tea leaf here in plain sight in place of a fourth maze’s entrance. After that, there are three entrances to three different mazes. The water maze, invisible maze and dark maze.

Maze 1: (The invisible maze)

The blocks here are invisible. This includes the floor. This maze contains one tea leaf.

KEY:

  • Yellow: Walls
  • Black: Floor
  • Dark Grey: Platform 1 block above the floor
  • Grey: Platform 2 blocks above the floor
  • Light Grey: Platform 3 blocks above the floor
  • Red: The entrance area
  • Blue: The tea leaf room
  • Light Green: The tea leaf

Maze 2: (The dark maze that is actually fairly well lit)

The entire maze is made of black wool. That’s the gimmick. There’s two tea leaves at the end.

KEY:

  • Yellow: The fastest route to the tea leaf
  • Black: Floor
  • Red: The entrance area
  • Blue: The tea leaf room
  • Light Green: The tea leaf

Maze 3: (The underwater maze but sometimes it’s not)

This maze is incredibly complicated. At first it appears to be just a regular maze built underwater; however sometimes air pockets will be higher than usual and will lead to above-water sections of maze. These above-water sections will lead to further underwater areas. You’ll need to go through several separate underwater and terrestrial areas to get to the tea leaf. There are two tea leaves to claim for your troubles.

KEY:

  • Black: Dry floor
  • Blue: Underwater areas of the maze.
  • Turquoise: Air pockets in underwater areas of the maze.
  • Red: The entrance area
  • Rich-Blue: The tea leaf room
  • Light Green: The tea leaf
  • Various Colours: (Pink, purple, yellow, red, dark green, dark grey, light grey, rich-blue, magenta, teal) Places where underwater areas lead to above-ground areas. Each individual colour labelled with a number assigned specifically to it. All sections of the maze were made facing NEGATIVE X.
